Indian Indulgence Fundraising Dinner 2014
Thank you to everyone who attended the Equal Health Indian Indulgence Fundraising Dinner at The Cinnamon Club on Tuesday 1 April 2014
It was an enjoyable night with great Indian food. The 40 people who attended were treated to a spontaneous dance by Paul Clarke which encouraged a number of guests and staff to participate in the Indian dancing competition.
The best Bollywood dance moves went to waitress, Pawan. She received a hamper of Indian treats kindly donated by Prime Products in Osborne Park.
Our thanks go to the Cinnamon Club for hosting and supporting Equal Health in this event.
Several of guests embraced the theme by wearing Indian dress.
Congratulations go to Joy Northover and John Fletcher on winning the best dressed competition. John also received second prize for his display of Indian dancing. His practice in India certainly paid off!
We were able to raise $1,992, thanks to the generous support of those who attended the event.
The funds raised will help bring sight to the blind, relief from dental pain, freedom of movement and improved health to people in developing countries, who would generally not have access to such health care.
